Book

Hello welcome back to my blog today I am going to talk about the class book we read last term. We read a book about named holes. The book was about a kid named Stanley yelnats that was always at the wrong place at the wrong time. Stanley yelnats then ended up  going to this place called camp green lake where all you do is dig holes. They then end up just digging holes until he is a good boy then Stanley yelnats get released. My favourite character was Stanley yelnats because he was the only character apart from the guard. I did not enjoy the book because it was 70 chapters long of just talking about digging holes. Stanley yelnats in the book and in the movie dont like it and they both dig holes. I did not like the movie as well because it was the same as the book and 2 hours of digging holes. I would recommend the book to anyone that likes to read.

Why did the bubbles come up?

As the Mentos candy sinks in the bottle, the candy causes the production of more and more carbon dioxide bubbles, and the rising bubbles react with carbon dioxide that is still dissolved in the soda to cause more carbon dioxide to be freed and create even more bubbles, resulting in the eruption.

Sports Hero

Hello welcome back to my blog today I am going to talk about what we have been doing for our heroes work. We have had a few days to work on this work. We had to pick a sport hero that I look up to. I chose Liam Squire my cousin. We had to put a few facts about the person and what they did.

Here is my work.

Liam Squire is my sports hero because he never gives up and he always tries to push himself to the

limits. He is also inspiring, brave, strong, resilient and committed.

Teams/What he Does.

Liam Squire is now in the NTT DoCoMo Red Hurricanes in Japan on a two-year deal after the 2019

season but later made an early return to New Zealand September 2020. Liam Squire was signed to the

Chiefs for the 2014 Super Rugby season. Liam Squire also played for the Chiefs in 2015. He is

best-known for his three-year career as an All Black, playing 23 tests for New Zealand across that

\period, including 17 tests as a starting player. He now is in the Hurricanes playing position Number 8,

Flanker.

Returning All Blacks loose forward Liam Squire headlines 2021 Highlanders squadWhy Liam Squire has made the decision to return to New Zealand

Relations

I am related to Liam Squire by my gran that has sadly passed away. He was my gran's sister's kid so

he is my cousin. I found out that I had a really cool cousin in 2013 when I was 5. When my gran passed

he was going to skip out on a rugby game to come to the funeral but my Gran would have wanted him to

keep playing and still trying his best.

Where he Lives and Where brought Up.

Liam Saurie was born in Christchurch in the North Island in Palmerston North. He is 29 years old and

he was born on 20 March 1991. Liam Squire has returned to New Zealand and is currently rehabbing

after hip and knee surgeries.
